Father's Day morning after spending a few hours in bed in pretty good pain Maleah woke up and didn’t want to go back to bed. So since I could not sleep and it was time to take more pain Meds and I had not had a chance to try out the new Lazy-Boy Recliner, I offered to get up with Maleah and watch a Mr Rodgers or few with her while Jennifer caught up on some Sleep.  Maleah and I grabbed some Cheerios and then watched a movie. Piglets Big Adventure.

Bout 10am a headache started in. I figured it was a combo of Tension and lack of Starbucks.  Took more pain meds, no help.  Tried to get some fluid and rice in me to help with the stomach cramps from the meds. It didn’t stay in.   Several sessions of that later I called back the Dr and they said to come back to the ER.  Called up Paul and we were off to the ER. I wanted to let Jen get some rest as Pulling 2 all nighters would have done her in.

This time the ER was crowded. Luckily Astrid and James were there to check me in and made some comments on my return Visit.   Got pushed to the front of the line and was in a room in no time.   They Filled me up with anti-nausea and more pain meds, then after those pain meds didn’t work, the filled me up with more narcotics.   With the Headache gone and the  nausea under control, they told me to go home and take my Hydrocodone on top of all of the other things they gave me. Needles to say I was out for a while.
