Transverse process fracture

Transverse process fracture: This type of fracture results from rotation or extreme sideways (lateral) bending and usually does not affect stability.

Transverse process fractures are often rehabbed with a thoracolumbar corset along with a walking or aerobic type regimen.

I dont think the person that wrote this has had theirs fractured.   When you walk and some muscles move in such a way to tweek the transverse process portion of the vertebrae, it will drop you to the floor. I dont think I would call that stable...   okay okay, Well maybe they mean the patient is stable enough to move with out a spine board.

So where does one get this thoracolumbar corset???
